My mom (a veterinarian) rescued a mother cat and her 5 baby kittens from a shelter near her clinic several weeks ago, and we are now putting the kittens up for adoption and trying to find them good homes. They are 9 weeks old (born May 24, 2006). They are all very outgoing and affectionate towards people. We have: two black and white males, one tabby male, and one black and white female. Their mother was tested for Feline Leukemia and found negative and the kittens have not been exposed. My mother will spay and neuter for free, but you must pay the cost of their vaccinations -- ~$38 per round (two rounds, three weeks apart). They will be adopted with at least their first round of vaccinations complete and if the second is not done yet, you have the choice of having them vaccinated at my mother's (where she will waive the office call) or at another veterinarian.

She may keep her as she's very sweet. If you are interested though, I can ask if she'd like to find her a home. I have a picture of her I can post. She's a tabby. 7/28/2006 9:33:51 AM |

They are getting first round of vaccines today - I will be going home to Mount Olive in 3 weeks to take any of the kittens that need their second round of vaccines at my Mom's clinic to get their shots. If you take one, I can take him/her with me that weekend with a few other of the kittens to get vaccinated and bring them back to you if you would like the discounted vaccine rate. 7/28/2006 9:50:00 AM |

I've gotten several emails from interested people. The kittens will be in Raleigh tomorrow afternoon to meet potential owners. We will be particular about who takes them, especially since there has been so much interest, so that we can guarantee they have good homes. If you are still interested in one of them, please email me and tell me a little bit about what you're looking for in a cat and what kind of living situation you are in. I will get back to you and get your number. If they are not adopted by those who have already replied, I can call you and have you come see them. 7/28/2006 2:49:45 PM |
