yup, you can sign up . . . but there isn't any point since they wont let you "win" one

If youdo happen to win the ticket lottery online, be sure that you claim your ticket when the claiming period is in effect. This will all make sense once everything starts up.

you guys seriously don't want people to join this site, do you?

wtf

Nate, hit that link from the 2nd post. Basically if you read the Technician and keep an eye on that site, you can logon and register your name in the voucher system and then random students get chosen for tickets. Typically more people register than we have seats for, so you win some & lose some. The best way to be assured of seat is entering your name with a Group. Make some friends, chose a group leader, and then get 5+ folks to register for tix under his/her leader name. Plus you're assured of sitting w/ your friends if your group wins. Basically after registration, the system picks winners & emails you, you logon, print off your ticket, and show up to the game w/ the ticket + your student ID and you're money.

Welcome to State

^^awww . . . way to ruin the fun. everyone is always complaining that we don't have any traditions, we were just trying to start a new one

but yeah, don't wait for the system to send you an email. note the dates for the request and claim periods and logon and check things for yourself. Last year, there were a lot of problems with people getting emails.

Oh, and there should be a penalty system in effect. So if you win a ticket and can't use it . . . cancel it before noon the day before the game. Otherwise your chances of getting a ticket are reduced by half for the first time one isn't used, and you just don't get anymore if you do it twice.

On a side note, who we gonna get to keep up with the system this year. lahyde isn't doing it anymore.

I wonder if they are gonna make it so you have better chances if you go to more games.

the system is set through registration and records and sometimes they are slow about things so you might be able to, or you might not be able to. Probably be able to for a few games, but not all. Like people that graduated in december were able to for about half of the bball games after december.

^^ It'll stay active at least a couple months. My pal left State and he got 2 months works of tix last year before it stopped recognizing his Unity ID.
