Driver's side, FWD Celica.

Got one with a broken clockspring, and it won't retract. No easy fix.

ive had two camrys in the past that had the same problem. i had to take it apart, clean up the check ball. youll have to hold it upside down to get it to free up.

Naw...the check weight thing is fine. You could pull it out all day, but it wouldn't retract.

The clockspring had broken (actually one of them; it has two--one that has a pawl so it won't tighten up on you when the door is closed), so I took one of my Teg seatbelts and borrowed the clockspring assembly.
