The wife wants a Yoga DVD because she can't make it to any of the classes at our gym with her current work schedule. She has done quite a bit of power yoga in the past, she's definitely not a beginner. She also wanted a DVD for "Flow" yoga. Any ideas on good ones? 8/2/2006 10:26:33 AM |

Ok, not trying to talk up my work, but we have lots of Yoga DVD's and stuff like mats at Barnes & Noble...it's by some brand called Gaiam (sp?) and I think we have exercise balls and other random yoga stuff too. Never done it, but she might appreciate the range of titles. 8/2/2006 11:10:47 AM |

^ Is it a pretty strenuous workout? She doesn't like the easy stuff. Oh, and she doesn't really care for the spiritual granola talk.

Yes, because heating a room to over 100 degrees and pumping it full of steam is real fucking convenient for home use. 8/2/2006 12:54:53 PM |

I purchased a well known DVD for yoga that was an hour long. 15 minutes was wasted on how to use the yoga tools (the block, the matt) and a 15 minute workout that did not use any tools. The second half hour was the exact same programming and workout as the first. 8/8/2006 7:06:55 PM |

You should check out Yoplait - they're French and they offer a lot of different flavors. They're also doing a campaign to help women's breast cancer if you collect enough of the peel-off labels. 8/8/2006 7:15:34 PM |
