Anyone know how much it costs to have the refrigerant taken out of your system and where are some quick places to do it? I'd like to do change the compressor on my truck this weekend.

Make sure when you change the compressor you change the dryer and orifice tube too, along with replacing the refrigerant........

While it has an extremely low ozone-depleting potential, it still contributes to the greenhouse effect. The good thing is that it breaks down much faster than R12, which can last over 100 years at ground level because it is so stable.
