My car broke down today and I took it to my mechanic. He said it needs a new Ignition System Kit. But he was charging out the ass to put it in. I called Nissan and the part is $195. Does anyone know how to or will be willing to fix this for me? How much for a broke ass college student?

To respond to your PM, I haven't taken an ignition switch out of one of these before and don't exactly feel comfortable doing it without either irreversibly damaging your airbag-equipped car.

If I were you, I'd let somebody with insurance blow your airbag. I can't pay for one of those, man.
