I'm wondering which would be the best for the ease and accessibility of most web page viewers.

I want to make a pop-up with a short slide show...I currently use a javascript, but I'm redoing a bunch of pages and it's an older, heftier javascript so I figure if I'm gonna change it, I should recode it to make it smaller, easier, more accessible etc... Opinions?

I know other languages (like php) but the server this site happens to sit on is fairly strict in terms of what it can handle.... I use coldfusion for it, but I don't know it that well at all and I'm not aware of using that to make a slideshow...and I don't want to make it more complicated than it needs to be....so as I see it, those three options are my only options but I'm open to any others
