I have my little cheat sheet but was wondering if there were any "easy" to learn guides out there that you use or that are online. I saw a few in google but there might be a hidden holy grail and man i need it. It's been 8 years since i messed with this stuff.

I'm being put in charge of user folder access and management of a set of web directories. I need to be able to know how to make changes, set access, etc. basically anything that involves permissions and navigation of unix file systems.

If you're already familar with some flavor of Linux/Unix, there's not a whole lot to learn. Most of them are somewhat similar, or at least similar enough that it's not too terribly hard to figure out.

I'm a big fan of the Rosetta Stone. It's pretty handy for drawing parallels between systems you know (Linux) and systems you don't (e.g. Solaris, HPUX, AIX, etc.). If nothing else, it's a good source of leads to man.
