a grand or so. it is in perfect condition. little used. just too big bulk wise for me to move around and i just got an hd lcd for my room... the pq is awesome on dvd and hd, decent on regular def. the tv was top of the line rear projection couple of years ago. read up on it or if you have questions let me know. i dont have to get rid of it or anything, just feeling what i could get if i wanted to.
rear projection crt is out of style at the moment, but i dont see much out there that is noticably better with hd or dvd than this set. if it wasnt so damn big, i would never sell it, but it doesnt have much sig. other acceptance factor! it does have some wow that tv is a beast factor though. 8/7/2006 6:18:42 PM |

I have a 50" Hitachi Ultravision projection TV that was made in 1993... The convergence is shot and it is getting repaired as we speak... almost $400 bucks, but that is worth it for a 50" TV...
If you were selling this for $500, I would buy it instead of getting my other one repaired... oh well... 8/7/2006 7:38:12 PM |

a good tv is a good tv regardless if it is a couple of years old. it will last many more. convergence is not a problem with my unit. id say hitachi changed some stuff from 1993 to 2004ish. i know everyone here is cheap, but ebaying this would be a pain in the butt... 8/9/2006 11:43:44 AM |

^^ $1000 ?????? Ur fuckin nuts man- Take a look on http://www.craigslist.com, http://www.wral.com, http://www.ebay.com, hell--- http://www.bestbuy.com and you can find TV's that are newer, lighter, and just generally better than your for around $500-$700 depending on how hard you look.
going rate for older rear projection tv's are ahywhere from $200- $600 and very rarely any more than that... I mean yes we are all very here on TWW mr.I have 130posts and think I know something and that would be because the majority of us are: A) half way educated and capable of researching a product. B) Capable of finding the best price on an item in order to get a fair price C) NOT GOING TO PAY WHAT Some dumb shit off CL will for nothing more than a "big tv"
You really ought to research your own product and how much it is going for before you post it for sale...
In short-
I give you $3008/21/2006 10:09:11 PM |
