what would cause a strong odor of raw diesel fuel after the truck gets hot

I can't find leaks anywhere

but it does it once the truck gets warm... bad enough to smell it strong in the cab

I'd go to the powerstroke forums but I can't remember any of my log-in info

Except that there is no injector pump on a HEUI engine.

You need to check all of your fuel lines going into the heads. Reckon you got o-ring leaks you can't see?

Is your oil level normal? No fuel contamination of the oil, is there?

intake valve leaking by, or a stuck injector if no obvious leaks, any weird noises or power loss?

[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 9:38 PM. Reason : check your secondary filter real well too]

Ain't nothin' stanky like a PowerScrote with a leaky unit injector.

Or for that matter, a cracked fuel filter cap.
