I just spent money at Sam Ash.

It was a good deal. But I still feel dirty.

At least Mars had some fucking selection.

Sam Ash is hard to shop at unless you're down for 20 kinds of Korean pieces of shit. How can a store that big carry so fucking little?

^ I've often wondered the exact same thing. Guitar Center has a decent selection, but only in rotations. For example, a rack that is filled with garbage Chinese Telecasters might have American-made P-90 Melody Makers for under $300 with a case a few months later (I kinda wish I had bought more than one).

Just picked up a 2015 Fender American Standard Strat with the stickers/plastic still on it, all the paperwork, case, everything that came with it unopened, etc. off Craigslist for $1000. Practically brand new. I've been looking for a deal like this on a strat for a while.

I've played guitar since I was a kid - maybe 7 or so - but the last 12+ years I've played exclusively acoustic (Taylor 410ce).

This thing is gorgeous but I fucking suck at electric guitar haha. Here's to growing into it.

Anyone have any good YouTube series that are free that are geared towards people who already know rhythm but are trying to learn lead?
