I already have keyless entry, etc. on my car, but I need an alarm... any suggestions?

ive always had viper with the proximity sensor on my cars and have enjoyed it.

^^^ I agree... Those alarms go off on false occassions so much. Annoying really. I mean seriously, when you hear one go off, i'll bet you first start thinking, "goddamn car alarm. I wish they'd turn that shit off... " and not "OMG SOMEONE'S CAR IS GETTING BROKEN IN TO )

the one i recommended is a 2 way deal that will let you know when it's going off - of course you have to be in range though...

yea clifford matirx 3.5/ viper 791 vx 2ways are ab the best things out .

I have a viper 791 XV, pretty happy with it and has never went off for no reason.

The new clifford G5 stuff is supposed to be pretty good being you can integrate it into your "car pc" if you have one. Other wise you can set options on it using a laptop.

looked at a Python today... pricey - $400 installed...

i got the python 700 for $320 installed at circuit city. not too much experience with alarms, but im liking it so far..

when i take my impala out back home and park in a parking lot, without a doubt at least one car alarm will go off just from the sound my exhaust makes, kinda comical
