fucking sick!

very diverse crowd. a bunch of young rhymesayers kids there for ali. and then like some 40 year old plus people there for rakim that didnt know ali but were plesantly surprised.

brother ali went own around 1030 but first track in his cdj wouldnt work so they tried the house cd player but it wouldnt put out enough load so his merch man bailed him out and came on stage and did some dope beat boxing for like 6 or 7 songs

then kid capri came on and ran through some joints and then rakim hit the stage and ran through the oldies but goodies. i was impressed. he aged well and was still fresh and sharp as ever. hasnt lost a step at all.

** on a side note, do shows start at the specified time at amo's ? i ask b/c i show next week i wanna go to says it starts at 7 but thats way early. so i need to know if i need to skip classes or not
