picked this up yesterday...while i wasn't blown away initially, i think i'm going to finally get from this album what i was looking for in her most recent three (Evolve, knuckle down, educated guess) that just never delivered--some kind of "connection" to her music. that's what i always loved about ani and it just seemed like she lost it (or maybe i did, i dunno)...with evolve she still had the band, but then dropping the band with KD and EG, while the single more raw ani was present, it just lost a lot of life for me. she doesn't bring back the whole band in this one but the bassist, sickafoose, that played with her on tour b4 she took a medical hiatus is on the album. she's also got another guy helping her with mixing which i really enjoyed.

so in other words, good album...as each track played i was more pleased with the album...by the last one i was like "oh hell yeah! now this is what i've been waiting for!"

and you get some pretty post cards with your purchase too
