I had to leave my kitty with friends over the summer, and apparently she ran away. Please please help if you can - $100 for her safe return or info leading thereto.
--Last seen around 6/14/06 at the intersection of Kaplan and Kent. --tigerstripe black on gray, with orange highlights --she has a patch of white fur on her belly that hangs down and flops around when she walks/runs (from spaying) --possibly has a yellow collar bearing a tag with the address 2713-A Vanderbilt Ave, Raleigh (i've since move) and two cell phone numbers (both still active). especially if you live in the area, please let me know if you've seen any kitties around that match the description/don't seem totally feral. thank you wolfweb.
PS - i'm not sure if this belongs in classifieds or Lounge, so Mods - just remove the one that doesn't belong.

We have a very similiar looking cat come into my work on saturday that someone found. It has a microchip and we have not been able to get in contact with the owner. The chip was implanted in sept. 05 at the garner SPCA
let me know if its the same cat

I'm not sure if it was your cat, but there was a cat identical to it in Parkwood Village last week. I remembered it because it was big and didnt look like a stray cat. 8/14/2006 9:58:06 AM |

someone in the Lounge mentioned seeing a similar cat in Hunter's Creek ..
i should elaborate on my current situation - i moved up to DC for a fellowship (just graduated), so i'm not around to follow up on leads very well. i have a few friends in the area that are helping out, but if you see a potential kitty and are comfortable catching/keeping it and sending me a pic, that would be probably the coolest thing you could possibly do.
i realize i ask a lot . .hence my offer.
by the way, she loves the sound of crumpled paper being squeezed. 8/15/2006 4:08:50 PM |

bttt.
i'll be in raleigh for the weekend, so i'm going to follow up on any leads. also, just so everyone knows, eventhough i'm in dc, if you find Olivia, you don't have to keep her long. i have a friend in raleigh who is willing to keep her until we can come down for her. you'll still get the $100!
thanks again. i really appreciate any leads whatsoever. 8/17/2006 9:43:29 PM |
