I hate sean hannity. I hate bill o'reilly.
But i do love rush limbaugh. Hannity is too party line. it's OMG I LOVE BLOWING GWBUSH OMG and that's it. O'reilly is just a tool. But Limbaugh actually speaks with conviction. 8/16/2006 12:39:50 PM |

^^^ Two things:
1) I like how Sean Hannity does his show with the liberal equivalent of Mr. Potato Head, too. It's a small part of the way Fox mocks its own branding as being Fair and Balanced. They may as well have given Bill Kristol a show and just picked a random, soft-spoken, PETA freshman from UC Santa Cruz to be his counterpart.
For more on this phenomenon...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_bias#Efforts_to_correct_bias
2) Let's go to the mission statements for this one...
Media Matters
Quote : | "Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media." |
To summarize: Not for profit, openly leftist, acting as a monitor of news, exclusively broadcasts the content of networks instead of creating it
Fox News
Quote : | "That mission remains unchanged after half a century of expansion and improvement: the creation and distribution of top-quality news, sports and entertainment around the world" |
To summarize: For profit, politically neutral, acting as a reporter of news, primarily engaged in the broadcast of news content created in-house
Are the distinctions evident, yet?
Effectively, you asking this question allows me to ask you this one: with the volumes of books, papers, and claims about how liberally biased CBS news is, how many liberals does newsbusters.org have working for them?
Or ask why an apple doesn't taste more like an orange.

Truthfully, I think he's a cool guy for the most part. I like that he is a fan of whistleblowers and is willing to break from the rest of the pundits, who are just puppets of the party. Recently, he blasted Israel for their indiscriminate bombing of Lebanon and chewed out some doucher that called in to complain about him playing music from Germany on the show (because Germany is an evil socialist country).
But in the end, he's horribly prejudice against homosexuals, feminists, and immigrants, so he's a dick.8/18/2006 12:18:24 PM |

I like Rush. He's entertaining and probably the most talented radio host on the air. Too bad he uses his talent to make awful arguments in favor of an awful ideology.
Savage can choke on a porkrind for all I care. I don't care if he's serious or not-- he's encouraging some severely ignorant people to become even worse. The man's in favor of Muslim concentration camps for God's sake, and people eat it up. I think it's an act, but doing this type of crap for the money is worse than if he were actually serious.
O'Reilly and Hannity need to choke on Limbaugh's dick. They're hacks. 8/18/2006 12:30:55 PM |
