When I was a student (years ago) I practically had to pay people to go downtown with me. I guess they were scared?? Wasn't sure if the same sentiment abounded amongst the current NCSU demographic.

Plus I thought it was funny.

I've seen Laid Out Level before and they're pretty good.

Plus they seem to have many cute girls as fans. That's always a bonus.

i'm certainly not going to defend glenwood south. i just said that because it seems as if a lot of ncsu students spend a lot of time there, and king's isn't that far away...thus, it would be stupid for people to be scared to go to king's.

so is this an ongoing WKNC local music series? if so, how might one inquire about playing for/suggesting bands to play for one of these shows?

Yes, they do it once a month. I think October is already booked -- don't know about Sept.
