I live on the east side of chapel hill, so I do some shopping in durham & use its amtrak, but I work in carrboro.

Erwin road is pretty long, I am on it briefly every day going from chapel hill to carrboro for work.

i lived right off of ninth st. 2 years ago. i think durham might be my favorite place to live in the triangle:

the drivers aren't as insane as those in raleigh
less pretentious than chapel hill/carrboro
but close enough that you can drive to either for a night out
various cultural/arts events at duke
really close to southpoint
has both bojangle's and honey's restaurants, and, for what it's worth, elmo's

and for some reason in raleigh or chapel hill, i always feel like i have to be out doing something. in durham, i feel like i can just chill.

but that's probably just all nostalgia.
