Sorry, I am new to cars and have absolutely no clue about them. I was driving down the road today and it starting driving really rough and pulling hard to one side. I immediately shut it off. I tried to restart it and it turned over and cranked right up so I know it's not the battery. It ran fine while I was sitting there on Western Blvd but as soon as I went to go again the symptoms came back. So I shut it off once more hoping it will clear itself up this time. So I restart it once more and it fired right up so I am absolutely positive it's not the battery. But once again as soon as I start to drive forward it got really rough, so rough my truck is bouncing me all over it. So I just shut it off and left it right there in the lane. Needless to say the people behind me were a little upset that I didn't move it off to the side of the road but I was so afraid of screwing something else up that I didn't want to risk it. Besides, they have another lane so they'll get the hell over it. So I decide to walk up to the corner gas station hoping they have a gas can I could borrow. I figured even though I just filled up yesterday somebody might have siphoned all my gas out and it was running out of gas. Well, the gas station didn't have one I could borrow but one for purchase. So I purchased a gas can and filled it up. What really sucks is it was only a 1 gallon can and I know my truck holds a lot more gas than that. So after 5 trips back and forth from my truck to the gas station, gas runs out the fill tube on the truck. So now I am absolutely positive that it's not out of gas. So I try to drive it once more. Again, same symptoms, it starts fine (I know it's not the battery) and runs fine (I know it has gas.) but as soon as I put it in drive and start to move forward, it bounces horribly. By now I am absolutely fed up with it. I call my dad to see what he thinks it could be. My dad, who isn't the best with cars also, is at a loss since he questioned the battery and gas and I told him both of them were fine. I started to cry just because I am so fed up with the situation plus the fact that cars are blowing the horn, yelling obscenities, and flicking me off as they drive by (why do people have to be so mean in a time of crisis?). My dad tells me just to leave it where it is and he'll call a tow truck. I called a cab and got a ride home. I hope the truck is alright and hope the tow truck found it. Does anybody have the slightest clue as to what the problem could be?
