The Independent is a respected international newspaper.


And it is not new news that the Taliban is in the process of reconquering Afghanistan.

The administration is even recognizing this.

but we're not contributing in afghanistan what we should be contributing. call me crazy, but i think we should have concentrated and gone for success there before we even thought of going anywhere else in that region.

Here's a CNN article about the recent violence in the same region of Afghanistan. While they mention the escalation of violence by insurgents, they fall short of making biased and sensationalist comments like, "the Taliban are reconquering south-west Afghanistan."
