hey, is there any way to figure out if my brake pads are just loose, or if i have to replace my brakes? they squeak when you press lightly, but I haven't had any problems stopping or anything Any help would be nice, i havent wanted to bring it in because being a girl and all i figure they will just automatically tell me they need to be replaced

your pads might be worn

or they may be on the tabs

have them looked at, brake pads are cheap and if they are showing a lot of wear go ahead and repalce them

because it is much cheaper to replace pads tan rotors

Sounds like Wearevers from advance, or ^. The brake pads arent expensive, just find a guy to change 'em.
