Any recommendations of a good hardware store in the durham/morrisville/brier creek area?

Looking for a bunch of hex bolts, home depot/lowes yielding nada

screw all of those. Wilders Fastners, as long as you have cash or credit they will help you out, they carry mroe or less anything that cna be use to screw, bolt, glue, rivet, pin, weld, or otherwise fasten any two objects together.

depending on the size, auto zone or advanced have assorted sets of (what they claim to be) grade 8 metric and standard hardware for like 20 bucks

In Durham, Public Hardware is all that comes to mind. It's on Mangum street just before you get to downtown. Burke Brothers is probably just as close...
