Im going to get a new tank for a 1975 Honda CB750 and all the tank needs is a CB gas cap and a CB petcock but the petcocks gone bad on mine so I was wondering if it would work if I ordered the tank with out the hole for the petcock tapped yet and took it to a honda dealership and got it tapped for a Shadow or some other bike that would be easy to find a replacement petcock since they dont make one for my year bike anymore. I dont see any reason that wouldnt be possible but thought Id ask.

Ditto on 751. They had all kinds of parts laying around for my '76 CB750. Damn, I miss that bike. Even had a kickstart...cranked on first kick everytime.

yup... they hooked me up on some junk for my 78 cx500 and my 83 nighthawk 750. try ebay too, you can find people parting out older bikes for pretty cheap.

Check out mrcycles.com and servicehonda.com. Servicehonda has been a little cheaper from my experience, but it's easier to figure out what you need from the mrcycles website. It looks like mrcycles has complete assemblies for ~$57.
