This is first off a custom Laptop that was custom built so it is a bit more powerful than the base line. The Laptop is about 4 years old, but really well handled, its my 2nd computer mainly for travel and wireless use, otherwise I use my desktop. The Price is OBO, but please no lowballs, I will not reply to those pms.
Specs: XP Professional and recovery discs. AMD Athlon XP 2000+, 1.67 GHz Processor 256 MB Upgradable to 1 gig 30 Gig HD CD/DVD ROM/CD Writer 15.1 Inch Monitor FLOPPY DRIVE 2 USB drives S-video Connection so you can hook this up to your TV! PCI Slot so you can get a wireless card. Battery Life is only about 30 mins, but you can get a new battery for about $50 JLB Pro Speakers I also have all manuals and extra dics/software that came with the laptop.
Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks!

woah
if someone is offering you anything close to 350 (or 300 for that matter) then you need to jump on it. 8/31/2006 12:30:38 PM |

i dont know that pro vs home is that important to most people.
now if that laptop has an XP home sticker on the bottom, and you have a license of XP pro in addition to that (complete with COA etc)...then that justifies a higher price. 8/31/2006 12:41:12 PM |

haha thanks, but not happening. Its like that would be just for me to keep it laying in a bag in my room, and getting a new laptop as well. 8/31/2006 12:47:30 PM |

Gotta agree with Albert on this. I'd offer 250 just because of the 2 OS keys, but I don't think you're gonna get quite what you're hopin for.
You say you use it for travel/wireless use. Does it come with a wireless card? Your new laptop should have built-in wireless, so I would assume you'd leave the card with this one.

Exactly how is that a "custom built" laptop? It's a compaq...do you mean you change the specs from teh baseline model before you ordered it?
^Some compaq laptops have a wireless card/attachment that isn't necessarily built-in but it attaches to the outside cover of the LCD. In the second picture (one showing the back ports) it would be the left side of the cover w/ the green sticker (you can see the line where it's connected). It's not your typical internal wireless card or your typical PCMCIA card. You can't really tell that it's the wireless card by looking at it. 8/31/2006 2:15:58 PM |
