so wmp fails every time I attempt to stream music. .asx file

every time it quits. plays the intro, then cuts right off.

uninstalled, reinstalled wmp

same thing.

some other app is cutting it off? memory failure? wtf?

did you restart after uninstallation?

yep, powered down for a minute to reset the hd, et al.
