Must they regurgitate the same top 2-3 news stories?

I was gone all day today - drove from Chicago to Kenosha, WI - and by the time I FIRST got home, I knew about Branch's grievance and Team USA's loss.

That was four hours ago.

How do they get away with calling this shit an update?

^^ Basically, the ESPN 30-in-30 "update" that they do every half-hour when news isn't on is merely a re-hash of the same stuff over and over again.

5:30 PM - Deion Branch is filing a grievance against the Patriots as he looks for a new home. Also, Team USA lost to Greece in the semi-finals of the World Championships in Japan.

you think that's bad, try watching every show from 3 to 6pm every day. 3 hours of people discussing the same 5 topics, most of which are rehashed from earlier in the week

yet somehow I stll look forward to watching PTI
