so my fiance's coming into town next month, and I read that I can get him a guest pass for $5, but only three times a semester. Does anybody know anyway around this? (ie. more than three times a semester.) 9/2/2006 1:08:41 AM |

get someone else's id for him to use.
or if she gets mail at your house, you can take the mail and buy her a membership to the gym. Don't remember how much that costs though. I think it's on the website
Quote : | "Student Household Members
Current students may sponsor one adult household member, 18 years or older, per semester for a fee of $40/semester or $30 for both summer sessions. This fee will not be prorated and is non-refundable. Household members of students may only purchase an Access Only membership; Full Service is not an option.
The sponsoring student must come to Room 2012 and bring proof of address for themselves and the household member. The household member must bring a photo ID as well. The household member does not need to be present, but may need to come by Room 2012 to get a gym ID made if they do not have an All Campus Card.
The following are all acceptable forms of proof of address:
* Current utility bill * Lease Agreement * Personal Checks * Driver’s License * Insurance bill or card * Credit card statement * Current bank statement * Current tuition bill * Current payroll check
These are not acceptable forms of proof of address:
* Marriage License * Junk Mail * Handwritten letters " |

Probably the West Dunn Building (the office for all card-related things) by the RR tracks on Dan Allen. 9/2/2006 1:40:39 AM |

^^^hmm... thanks for the idea, but I can't see any way to make that work.
^^I'm pretty sure you pick them up the 2012 room.
How much do they really look at passes? He's black and most everybody I know is white, which makes getting somebody else's ID a bit more complicated.
Edit: Actually... would any black males be willing to lend me their ID for about 3 weeks? (for a rental fee, of course, and I'd pay the price to replace it if by chance I lost it.) Needless to say, the ID must grant access to the gym (ie, no former students whose ID is useless.)

all he has to do is have his credit card bill sent to your address 1 time and then can change it back to his address.9/2/2006 10:17:26 AM |
