I just had my 2002 emachine reformated becuase it had become completely useless. Now, I am able to use the computer without major problems except that when I have it on for more than a half hour at a time, or run several programs at once (i.e. Media player and the internet), it will suddenly shut off and reboot.

Any suggestions on how to isolate and fix this problem?

thanks
