the management told me that there was a student discount, but a coupon was necessary to get it

does anyone know where I could get one of these coupons, and what kind of price it might be for a 2 bedroom apartment?

any info is appreciated, thanks

There's a reason why it's nicknamed "Dumpster Square."

Not really - I've lived here for almost 3 years now and have had no bad experiences...management is good, maintenance is good, rent is cheap and the apartments are nice.

I lived in a townhouse there for 2 years and never had any problems. Maintenance was super-fast, leasing office staff was always very freindly, they have 2 pools and 2 workout rooms, apartments are in great shape considering they were built in the 60s (a lot of them have been remodeled within the past 2 years). All-in-all, for a college apartment, I think they are ideal. Would I raise a family there? Probably not, but they served me well.

i don't know it by number, just by punchkey spaces

the ladies in the front will give it to you if you ax them

btw i've lived there for 8 years now and have no horror stories except when they remodeled the inside of my apartment this summer

but that's what i get for living in the same apartment year after year

I spent a couple years there, and if I were to move back to Raleigh I'd consider living there again. It was a good experience.

I liked the proximity to western blvd (plaza west) being halfway betweent there & crossroads.

could have if you add it up

but not at the time i paid most of my rent was i financially secure enough to do so...wasn't until i started making post-college money in the past couple years where i could do that

plus i'm probably moving away from raleigh in about a year or so...so no point in buying a house now

One of the 2 fitness rooms.

The 3 bedroom layout with a balcony is a nice set up.

I read through that, but decided to live there anyways. I mean one person having a bad experience there back when I was about 12 years old, wasn't enough to turn me off to the place, especially considering all the renovations since then.

sometimes living cheap has its not a good idea. If its cheap then its cheap for a reason.

sumter square ain't a five star resort, but i know people that definitely pay more for less...especially the hamster house crowd off of gorman and tryon

lived there for about 2 years, not a nice place by any means, but serves a college student well.

cheap, fast to fix stuff, never had any problems, however the crowd that lives there is just that of what you would expect with a place that is dirt cheap on rent
