I am in the process of changing all of the springs on my 87 YJ. I got a replacement set off craigslist for free. I have three that have five leafs, and one with only four.
I think the one that was broken only had four and it was on the front passenger side, all the other ones that I have not changed yet have five leaves.
WTF is the purpose of having four leaves on only one of the springs, do those of you that have a stock YJ have this same arrangement? 9/5/2006 12:15:55 PM |

Thanks, let me know when you get a chance. I wont be working on it any today most likely. Yesterday I only got one done because the nuts would not come off. 9/5/2006 1:20:31 PM |

ok so i just went out and looked. the rear leaf packs have 5 leaves and the fronts have 4. so i would guess you have 3 rears and a front. 9/5/2006 3:27:54 PM |
