I either want an old school mercedes/VW to convert to a WVO car, or a chopper/sport bike for cheap that is easy on gas as well...
also does any one on here do bike work, like swappin out engines 9/8/2006 2:38:02 AM |

old mercedes are very easy to convert, and they will run forever. however they are loud, and slow as shit. 9/8/2006 2:59:14 AM |

^ the man speaks the truth, but not just the old ones, i drove a '92 300d the other day that did 0-60 in about 37 minutes 9/8/2006 7:04:57 AM |

how about a 150cc scooter - fast enough for any city streets, 70mpg
I'm going through a similar decision - what's the cheapest and most reliable way to get to work and back every day. I have the Porsche for real/fun driving, but it still needs work.
I like the idea of a small displacement bike or larger displacement scooter, but given the completely shitty driving going on here in Charlotte I'm leaning more toward the diesel mercedes - a fuel efficient tank with an automatic transmission. 9/8/2006 7:30:09 AM |
