I can't think of a single person who uses these.

If you want to show something to your boss then so be it, but anyone else uses Visio.

either you know what is happening in your network or you don't.

when i was in CSC a few years back, i used OPNET. IT was the heat!

network map. I think they're useful when inheiriting a network that is completely ratfucked. which is the current situation. the place has been wired about 5 or 6 times, and the old cables are still there, the wiring closet is all fucked up.

anyway, I've used a tool to help out once before, in linux, cheops-ng, however I was seeing if and what anyone else used.

I strongly recommend swapping out that 1900 and 2926 for at LEAST a couple of 2960s.
