CL starts this week with a couple of really good games... I was looking on the SoccerTV website and apparently, ESPN is showing games at 5 on ESPN Classic now... well at least for this first round of games.

9/12:
PSV (Netherlands) vs Liverpool (England) - ESPN2 2:30 live
Levski Sofia (Bulgaria) vs Barcelona (Spain) - ESPN Classic 5:00, sdd
9/13:
Manchester United (England) vs Celtic (Scotland) - ESPN2 2:30 live
Lyon (France) vs Real Madrid (Spain) - ESPN Classic 5:00, sdd

That website also says there's a Champions League highlight show on Friday at 2. I've never seen it before but I hope there is one.. here's the website I got all this from http://www.soccertv.com/espn.cfm

AC Milan all the way! I'm kinda worried about the loss of Schevchenko though.

I really like both of these kits in the ManYoo-Celtic game. But I can't decide which United jersey I like better because that white one is nice. I guess I'll just have to keep my old school Umbro/Sharp sponsored jersey until I can make up my mind

ok please tell me somebody else is watching this game... Saha just tied it up with a pk, 1-1. This game is like 100 times better than yesterday's Liverpool's game.

holy shit, goal by Saha to make it 2-1, and Celtic answers with a nasty free kick to tie right before halftime... I guess I'll just keep commenting for my own benefit.

Guess I'll keep up with myself here as well....straight out of the breather, Man. U makes it 3-2. Must say I'm pulling hard for Celtic on this one. I'd like to see them when a few points.

saha should have at least 4 goals now

...not to mention it should be easily 5 or 6 to 2 after Rooney blew that 1 on 1 with the gk

^ The person that used to be president set the team up to maximize the money they make, not to win trophies. So they got a lot of big stars they did not need and they're still living with that legacy.

^ Holy shit. I had seen these links before, but never been around at the right time to use them...they're GREAT.

For the record:

Van der Sar
Heinze
Ferdinand
Vidic
G. Neville
Carrick
O'Shea
Scholes
Rooney
C. Ronaldo
Saha

Giggs'll get in, though.

I'm DVRing both games. It pisses me off that the ESPN2 broadcast ALWAYS shows the score of the Classic one that is tape delayed...

I'm watching the Chelski game right now.. it's early, but they look pretty shaky in the back. They'll settle down and win 4-0 probably though

I'm watching the Liverpool game on the internet and Crouch just scored the goal of the year to make it 3-0. Make sure you check the highlights

Crouch scored again? He's got two that game I think? Which page are you watching the games from? Live footy? I can't seem to get a good buffer. Screen freezes up every 20 seconds. Drogbra seems to be dominating for Chelsea.
