The other threads are more than 90 days old ...

My questions -

1. Has anyone looked into buying this http://www.olhausenbilliards.com/BYOT.php?tableID=0B3-200-00000-010-1Q9 at any point ?

2. If you have, is it worth it ?

i've got a olhausen. i love it. they're cheaper than brunswick and the quality looked the same to me...but i don't know a lot about pool tables, so i could be wrong. we went to atlantic spas and billiards to get it. they have a ton to choose from. you pick the kind you want and choose the color of the felt. pretty nice.

we have a brunswick table at our house and I love it, great quality.

We have some close family friends that have Olhausen tables, and it plays really well also, you can't go wrong with either, just dont buy one of the in store models, moving pool tables around can mess with the alignment of the slate if you opt to go that route

Thanks for the replies guys. I will be going to the store nearby to check it out later this week. It will be nice to have the custom made NC STATE one.

My dad has an Oulhosen hes had for about 7 years. Good quality table, but the felt could use replacing. Bumbers still have plenty of life in them though.

I recently bought a brunswick and couldn't be happier with the quality, but don't really notice a difference from my dads table.

And moving a slate table does no harm to it because they assemble them on site, seal the slate, and level the table. Just don't move it yourself unless you know what you are doing.

where can someone go to get a good quality table for around $1000? i call up atlantic spas and billiards and they keep quoting me $3000+. I dont really want to buy online because i want to see it and the return on a pool table would suck.....any discount place around town?
