I know there are abunch of whiners that will spam that Stone sucks.

But realistic chances that he can carry that momentum and play better in the next game.

And, if you think it wont carry over, is he forever to be a 2nd half quarterback?

no other threads worked for this

i think the negativity surrounding the program now (deservedly so) is going to hurt his confidence

not going to do well all year

Maybe a road game where he doesn't hear boos from his own fans will help?

Their crowd is decent but still won't rag him as bad as ours does.

25% Chance of keeping that momentum.

100% Chance our fans will never be satisfied.

100% that I'm tired of caring that much and am happy that at least we are competitive these days. Those of you who weren't around for the O'cain era should just step back and look at how much better off we are now than we were then.

I think that it's not up to Stone. Our play calls actually change to facilitate any success from the 1st half. It's considered "desperation" by our coaches when we have to throw a 13 yrd seam route to a TE but it works.

0% chance. If there were a chance we would've seen that carryover from his great 2nd halves to his horrible 1st halves last year.

He sucks.

Bring on burke.

I was around during the O'Cain days and our results are pretty damn similar. We are more competitive versus FSU now , but FSU during O'Cain's days >>>> the FSU teams Chuck has faced. O'Cain's record was 7-5 or 6-6 in his last three years. He just couldn't beat UNC.

One thing I will give Chuck over O'Cain is that the ACC is tougher now, but overall our program has made no real progress under Chuck.

I was also around the MOC days. What the fuck is this about? MOC actually scheduled good schools and would beat them often. Texas, Syracuse, Louisville, ECU was good then. MOC was 6-5, 7-5, and 6-6 in his last 3 years.

Stone's father is a real asshole and plays the "overbearing sports dad that lives his dreams through his son" role to perfection.

I think this is why he has absolutely no self confidence on the field because he sure doesnt act like that off of it.

But I also think he suffers from a lack of confidence because deep down he knows he hasn't worked hard enough preparing himself. He hasn't mastered our own offense enough so that he can spend time reading the defense. If you don't know what YOU are doing, it's really hard to figure out what THEY are doing...

you should have told him he is the man and the "booooo"s were actually "stooooone"

because we all know he is bad because the fans are bad.

I don't remember anyone booing last weekend. But I do remember everyone cheering when we threw our first pass actually down the field . . . and the second . . . and no one cared that they were incomplete.

I'll add Wake in 03 to that list...we didnt really have a shot to win that game....but 4 in just over 6 years isnt bad, and two came last year.

Its four because we only played shitty teams and because Miami felt sorry for us in front of National TV two years ago.
