I watched it, and just like everything else about metal, they painted a mostly negative picture of the genre and subculture as a whole.

Wow, Deicide. I haven't thought about that band in forever.

Then again I haven't listened to any death metal in years. However I did put in Carcass, Heartwork the other day, aswell as some Entombed.

it all comes down to the fact that people are too affraid to put the blame on themself. The children blame the music in hopes to reduce their sentence, and the parents blame the music because theyre ashamed to admit they didnt pay enough attention to their child to see how fucked up they are.

i agree man, but id say society blames the music/games becasue they are either too dumb to see the real reasons or just dont want to admit them. i have studied school shootings extensively so i kinda consider myself pretty knowledgeable on this

on a related note, i just bought Behemoth's album Satanica. listening now, awesome fucking album. I'd heard "Decade of Therion" more than enough times to warrant buying this album, just never got around to it till now.
