Search the city of raleigh's website for antifreeze. I believe you can flush it as long as you're on their sewer system. Don't do it if you have a septic tank.

You can indeed dump SMALL quantities of antifreeze down the toilet.
The big deal is it's like only 1.5 or 2 gallons every 30 days. Ethylene glycol is biodegradeable, but too much is toxic and puts a mighty strain on the aerobic process at the sewage treatment plant. 9/15/2006 3:09:08 PM |
