^^not true- any team can win or lose on any given day- There have been much bigger upsets. Like vermont college beating syracuse University in the sweet 16 2 years back.... I mean- yeah that hurts morale a lot but a team is only as good as the support of their fans- look at how a-rod performed when everyone was giving him shit- he got worse and worse..... every espn analyst said that he was slumping as a result of fans, people saw that, let off, and he got better.

the point of this thread is not to debate why NCSU is sucking ass (there are like 15 other threads for that) it is just to make a statement that you guys are shitty fans for knocking them down- true fans are gonna support a team through bad and good and hope for the best- Front runners love a team when they are winning and then talk shit when they lose.....

let's clear a few things up. firstly, us losing to akron was not just an any-given-saturday upset, i think our shitty game against app state (IAA) and losing to southern miss will prove that. secondly i LOVE nc state. i'm 4th generation here and have been a state fan my entire life, i come here out of state, as i moved to pa in 9th grade.

HOWEVER

if you think being a good fan is telling yourself and other people that chuck is doing a good job when he can't beat a cusa team and a mac team at home, you are incorrect, friend. i'm not only a fan when we're doing well, i don't stop wearing state shirts when the team is playing like they are now. but chuck is unacceptable. his teams are undisciplined and simply cannot compete. add this to him sounding like a douchebag on the news a few times per week, and i'd say he needs to go.

i will ALWAYS be a state fan, regardless of anything that could happen, but i am under no illusion that chuck is earning his wage.
