What made Jake good was his ability to control the game and make the routine play. That's why he never had stellar numbers but he did what he was supposed to do while keeping mistakes to a minimum. Honestly though, I think he's gotten a little cocky and he gets a bit too emotional. I think it affects his gameplay when he cant keep his emmotions under control.

However, he does have plenty to be upset about, the OLine that has been nearly great the last few seasons looks just bad this year. Drew Carter is dropping passes with no defenders within 5 yards of him. Jake definitly isn't the superstar that can carry a team but for the most part he does what he needs to do to get the ball in the hands of the people who need to have it.
