What are the major SNP scoring and sequencing efforts currently being
conducted now that the Human Genome Project and HAPMAP have been
completed?

Read an article where they are starting a project to sequence the genome of Neanderthals....

From what I know, they are trying to get major research animals' genomes sequenced.
