Original topic is too old. Pretty bad ass movie if you asked me. Good twists, although I think I had most of it figured out about halfway through. Lucy Liu was pretty awesome in the movie too.

When Freeman and Kingsley were tied up at the end and Freeman was talking about someone coming into his house and killing his wife, then shooting him 6 times in the stomach, yet he was able to stay alive and save his son.....was he saying Kingsley did that?? I don't think he was directing that at him...but I thought it was a possibility. Could have been the reason those two broke apart. Just wondering.

one thing confused me about the movie was why he had to fake the girlfriend/mugger story for? Since this story was only told to liu.

I understand it as Kingsley ordered the hit on Freeman and didn't actually pull the trigger.

The girlfriend/mugger story was so he could explain to anyone who asked why he was in that guy's apartment.

i liked the movie...but as usual i forgot everything that happened. I remember I really liked it and was surprised it didn't do better. I was also glad I watched that movie b/c it broke twice in the middle of the movie and we got free tickets at North Hills Cinema.
