I might be interested, what sort of work do you typically do and where does the pay range start?

No, they don't have to be licensed. It's not a requirement. I'm looking for someone who has enough experience to be able to go out on their own and assess the job or problem and be able to correct or install things to code. It usually takes at least 5 years or so of experience to be able to run things on your own. By the way we do about 50/50 residential/commercial work.
