maybe because he's new to MNF

maybe it's because he's not used to looking directly into the camera

who knows, but he just comes across as completely out of his element. If you notice, he never looks directly into the camera... and when he's not talking, his eyes are doing this creepy drifting thing where he looks like he's zoning out

he also always looks exhausted.

i like him during the games, but when it's pre-game and their doing their thing, he just looks so weird.

pay attention tonight. it's worth a laugh.

I like Tony.

He is much better than Paul Maguire or Mike Patrick.

And Theismann blows.

hes still the motherfucking man

they need to get wilbon in there as a guest though, that'll loosen him up when he has someone to make fun of other than theismann

his jokes have more mass appeal than Dennis Miller's but I dunno...I'm undecided

haha if they brought Wilbon on there shit would be wild...luckily Theismann might not be able to talk at all

it's not so much when he's talking to the camera, it's when someone else is. he's just spacing... its fun to watch

I agree. I thought that he really looked uncomfortable when they were doing lead-ins to their telecast

for some reason, he just looks awkward when all three of them are on screen together.

probably the most nervous thing he has ever done, MNF is huge, and i would think it would take time to get used to it

oh and Theismann blows

Its probably from doing so much sports radio... he's used to talking without a visual focus. With PTI he's face to face with someone so its easer butin the booth he's side by side and not as conducive to natural eye-contact... plus they spend most of the time off-camera.

Yeah, he really does.

But at least he gives Theismann hell.

One of the reasons he looks weird is hit posture.

When he has to turn to his side to look at the other announcers he slouches. That makes him look odd cause your used to all other espn poeple with straight backs and squarer than 90 degree shoulders.

he was killing on Theismann all night last night

and Kornheiser absolutely carried the Spike Lee interview, without him in the booth it would have been a complete mess
