no, no one has ever bought anything from Costco ever. Very shady small time operation there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm_Kills
Quote :
"Sarcasm is sneering, jesting, or mocking a person, situation or thing. It is strongly associated with irony, with some definitions classifying it as a type of verbal irony[1] -- stating the opposite of the intended meaning, e.g. using "that's amazing" to mean "that's awful". It is used in a humorous manner, often harshly, and is expressed through vocal intonations such as over-emphasizing the actual statement or particular words. Use of sarcasm is sometimes viewed as an expression of concealed anger[2] or cynicism.

Origins

The word comes from the late Latin word, sarcasmus, which, in turn, comes from the Greek sarkasmos, from sarkazein - to bite the lips in rage,- from sarx, sark-, flesh - the root word literally means "to cut a piece of flesh (from the targeted person)."

Sarcasm is proverbially described as “the lowest form of humor but the highest form of wit” (a quotation sometimes ascribed to Oscar Wilde, but untraceable).

Sarcasm in written communication

Because it is vocally oriented, sarcasm can be difficult to grasp in written form and is easily misinterpreted. To prevent this some people end sarcastic comments on the Internet with an emoticon, emphasize words with italics, bold, and/or underlining (e.g. That's just great), or surround them with a made-up markup language tag, e.g. *sarcasm*, <sarcasm> or <snicker>.

Another transformation of sarcasm into electronic media is only possible through written language. Using extremely poor typing in a sentence, one can indicate that the holder of a certain opinion is unintelligent or overly eager. For example: “steam rox0rz teh big one!11!eleven!1!” This written slang is especially popular in Internet forums. Sarcasm is also achievable through written language by using capitalization to emphasize certain words. For example: “Well isn’t THAT just fantastic.”

In the UK and some other countries, writing has adopted the use of (!) (an exclamation mark in parentheses) following speech in which sarcasm or irony is perceptible via the tone of voice, a punctuation mark which is very regularly seen in subtitles."

I buy from them a lot. They're just a rival wholesale place like Sam's except they carry different items. They're very generous with their return policy, almost a no-questions asked type deal unless its obviously your fault. I've bought brand name clothes there for cheap, ended up the wrong size (no changing rooms, the clothes are all just laid out in sections), returned it w/ no questions.

My parents shop there like it's their job. I'd assume if it's broken you can return it, or they'll direct you towards Microsoft. Otherwise it can't be opened. Why...that sounds sketch.

Then again...I've dealt with their customer service desk and they were asses, but that was in ATL. Do we even have a Costco near us?

So, how much is the costco 360 package and what does it include?

IIRC the BJ's 360 package is $470something and has the Premium package, and extra controller, a controller charger, and Project Gotham.

Costco isn't ghetto. My parent have memberships to Sam's, Costco, and BJ's and I've noticed little difference between the three.

In that vein...Atlanta isn't ghetto either...wtf.

people are stupid, the part of durham that costco is in isn't ghetto....

biggest reason why you all think durham is so bad, is that you have to pass through the crappy part (east durham) to get to the good parts, (west, north and south durham)

Although the Mexicanos and they're 10 kids are getting quite popular there lately.

One in Gboro too. Didnt know if you knew, you'll need someone's costco card to buy.
