My local favorite is Thai Villa in Cary. Its awesome, and as a bonus, is located right next to the gigantic asian market. 9/27/2006 8:24:58 PM |

Advice from an asian
#1) Sawasdee (Captial Blvd.) will give you a run for your money. Best one in my opinion. Most authentic food.
#2) Sushi Thai (Kildare Farm Rd.) is also one of my favorites.
#0) Thai Villa wasn't that great. Food isn't as good. Service isn't as good. 9/27/2006 9:08:12 PM |

King and I ... in the shopping center by reedy creek and maynard.
I went there a couple weeks ago and it was basically empty on a thursday nite. There was one other couple there. I ordered the duck curry. It was really good tho it cost $20 but it was enough for two people. Its weird to see places like that empty cuz their food isn't bad at all. 9/27/2006 9:15:21 PM |

what about shabashabu?
is thai garden on wake forest road (just north of the beltline) still open? that place was awesome 9/27/2006 10:35:36 PM |

that shabushabu place in Raleigh absolutely sucked and way overpriced. If you have ever had shabshabu or sukiyaki in Japan you will know why. Actually there is a good one in Flushing in Queens.

^^ do you mean actually inside the park or in the RTP/Triangle area?
because if you mean in the triangle area i seriously doubt youve been to them all.

Thai Villa's good (and near NCSU); Lemongrass is also quite good. I love Lemongrass' atmosphere, it's just annoyingly far away. 9/28/2006 12:09:31 AM |

thai villa has much better food than atmosphere, so it's really good if you have a craving for thai food, but not a fancy date or something 9/28/2006 12:30:04 AM |
