I still buy music... but I don't buy shitty music. The reason hip hop records aren't selling well is because the hip-hop that's worth buying (Project Polaroid, Third Sight) can't be found in any fucking record store around here.

i buy music only if i reaaaaaally like the cd. and fuck buying online, if i want to buy something I want the booklet and the real CD as well.

i want some numbers on record sales. mp3 sales is still a very small portion of the record industry's business. i know i remember hearing that single sales have plummeted since napster. but i really haven't seen any hard numbers in a while.

i buy musically constantly. like 2-3 cds/lps/12" at a time and often multiple times per week. i am not into digital music all that much b/c i am not an ipod fan and dont listen to music via my computer. if i d/l stuff i burn it to a cd and buy the vinyl b/c i prefer having the cd and like having the case and artwork and liner notes etc.
