About how much would a front end alignment on a '95 Honda Civic cost? I'm looking into buying a car and don't care to wait for mechanic shops to open tomorrow to figure out what cars too check out.

~60 dollars on average. some places a little less, some more. why only a front wheel? might as well go ahead and have a 4 wheel done while it's on the rack.

Okay so along the same lines: I'm buying a car and I'd like to have a mechanic to look over what I'm getting. I'm looking in the 2,000-4,000 dollar range and anywhere from 1992-2001. I've got a bunch of cars picked out on craigslist, that's about the only place I know to find much of anything. Anyways, who would be able to help me make sure I'm not getting a piece of junk?

Decent prices on other stuff too. $5 per wheel balance for 35's. Knock that shit out.

Holy shit, Gowers is awesome. $35 to align my front tires and $25 for an oil change

^i assume if they use mobil 1, it would cost more than $25, right?

Oh yes. Even if they don't use Mobil One, a good filter alone is worth the extra money.

And Wix is good shit.

25 bucks is cheap, period, for an oil change. Hell, the oil alone for mine costs 27 dolla. And that's dino juice, not synthetic.

The filter is another 8 to 10.

Big deal is this: that's a goddamn pittance to take care of your car.

Oh, and 60 bucks is not bad for an alignment, but in truth, why fuck with it unless it shows signs of abnormal tire wear or it pulls somewhat...
