I won't be in town, but after the last show of theirs I saw, plus their new album, I really have no interest in seeing them again.

They sound really good live, but just give out no energy. Neither do the crowds in Chapel Hill. Lots of people just standing around. I guess that's better than Hippie dancing though.

I'd rather have them play beutifully and not move around much than the other way around. The New Pornographers were the same way, and I still had a blast.

Yeah, hopefully they didn't play it tonight so there is a better chance they'll play it Thursday. I'm gunning for "Carry the Zero" myself.

Also, Thursday is completely sold out.

My favorite Built to Spill song is a cover of "Linus and Lucy."

Is that bad?

They didn't play Time Trap

However, they did play Conventional Wisdom and it was gnarly.

Man, some motherfuckers sure do have a hard on for "Time Trap". It was all the kids around me talked about before they started playing. We got "The Plan" and "Sidewalk" and "Carry the Zero" so I am happy enough.

BUT I DID NOT SPOT MISKA.
