1990 mercury sable, was maroon but the clear coat was chipping away so its now been spray painted white, no first gear in the transmission and second gear is going, before transmission went she ran like a dream

'97 VW Jetta GL w/99,500 miles.
black, auto, 2.0L engine, 4DR, cold A/C, just had inspection done, oil/filter change, new muffler system, sunroof, AM/FM/cassette, mostly highway miles as I travel a lot (graham, rtp, raleigh) daily. Great pickup!
