only a select few of us, the true experts, realized that this season was not over by a longshot at the beggining. i hope none of you get tickets for the acc championship!

Amato is a winner. There is no doubt about that. He comes from a winning pedigree (FSU) and he knows what he is doing. I support him and everything he does. If warms my heart to know that, as long as we victor, he remains our coach. But this brentroad place reminds me of medieval France with all the mutiny.

We would never have a true leader/coach, b/c as soon as he errs you guys would send him to the guillotine. Fact. Learn how to be patient and grow with people.

LOL. I love how Chuck has very similar records to MOC with more talent and WAYYYY better facilities and money and yet he is a God!

The problem with Chuck is we play down to our opponents. Instead of demolishing lesser teams like Akron, ASU, and Southern Miss, we let them hang in and beat us.

BTW did anyone see how great Southern Miss looked in their loss to Tulsa 20-6???

thats so easy for you to say Earl because you are freshman.

You didnt sit through 2001 when everyone was excited but we werent any good and the coaching staff "next year guys"

You didnt sit through 2002 when we started off strong and limped into a bowl on the backs of a fixed game and beat a relatively shitty opponent and the coaching staff said "We're here to stay"

You didnt sit through 2003 when we completely bombed against everyones high expectations because our defense was MISERABLE.

You didnt sit through 2004 when we had one of the top defenses in the country and went 5-6 because we couldnt move the ball.

You didnt sit through 2005 when we had a team full of All Americans almost miss bowl eligibility.

Im not going to even start with the MOC years because those arent Chucks fault but they were more of the same.

You havent seen this program underachieve consistently for the past decade.

hey ran ran, another thing we changed were the play calling. Under Stone, the O-C didnt make the best calls with all the screens and 5yd slants. So when they went wrong, all the blame went on Stone. They are calling better plays now under Evans (more deep routes). This is simply of another example of great troubleshooting done by Amato. He is def the unsung hero.

we called plenty of good plays with stone at QB, there were open receivers, the problem is he literally looked at 1 or MAYBE 2 receivers per play.

watch his helmet if you have any of the games tivod or something, he has a bad case of receiver tunnel vision.

EXACTLY

Just because Chuck has a few shining moments doesn't change the fact that football under Amato is a consistant disapointment.

Where the hell was his making changes and adapting to win during those years? If he did it at all, it was way too late in the season for us to see any real sucess.

Now if this is the beginings of a Rivers-type era, then so be it. But that would be because of Evans and NOT Amato.

Stone deserved the blame, he threw the ball into the dirt on every one of those patterns. Now we have a QB who can actually hit a target that's not standing still.

I love it when posters don't show up after they've been proven wrong.

Or...like in Earl's case....they make up complete bullshit to try and make it seem like they are still right. (I know, I know, alias)
